BEARINGS MOVE OUR WORLD
Our current world, with all the comforts that machines and technology offer us, would not be possible without bearings.
This unique component is present in a myriad of machines so that they can manufacture products or other machines.
Without going into much detail we show you the different types of bearings that RODAMIENTOS B.N.P., S.A. markets.
RIGID BALL BEARINGS
Rigid ball bearings are the most common type of bearings due to their great versatility of use.
They have low friction and are optimized for low noise and low vibration, allowing it to operate at high speeds.
It can withstand radial and axial loads in both directions, they are easy to mount and require very little maintenance.
There are models that incorporate one row or two rows of balls depending on the application where they are to be used.
ANGULAR CONTACT BALL BEARINGS
Angular contact ball bearings have their inner and outer ring raceways offset by themselves in the direction of the bearing axis.
This means that these bearings have been designed to support combined loads, that is, simultaneous radial and axial loads.
The axial load capacity of angular contact ball bearings increases as the contact angle increases.
There are models that incorporate one row or two rows of balls depending on the application where they are to be used.
OSCILLATING BALL BEARINGS
Oscillating ball bearings are self-retaining double row ball units with outer rings with concave-spherical raceway.
In this way it is self-aligning and can compensate for misalignment, shaft bending and support deformation.
Dry-running, maintenance-free, low-friction and low-vibration bearings.
ROLLER OSCILLATING BEARINGS
Roller oscillating bearings are an optimal solution for installations where high demands are made and possible bending of the shafts as well as misalignment must be compensated for.
These bearings are characterized by extreme performance and because they support very high loads both radially and axially.
CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARINGS
Single row cage cylindrical roller bearings are units consisting of solid inner and outer rings and cylindrical roller crowns.
The outer rings have fixed edges on both sides or have no edges, and the inner rings have one or two fixed edges or are constructed without edges.
The cage prevents the cylindrical rollers from contacting each other during the rolling process.
Dry-running, maintenance-free, low-friction and low-vibration bearings.
TAPERED ROLLER BEARINGS
This type of bearings is made up of an inner ring, an outer ring and tapered rolling elements.
Thanks to their design geometry, tapered roller bearings are capable of supporting combined radial and axial loads.
The contact angle of the raceways of tapered roller bearings is variable, which allows you to compensate in each case, the axial and radial load ratio of the application.
BALL AXIAL BEARINGS
ball axial bearings are manufactured in single and double acting versions.
Both versions can absorb high axial loads, however they should not be requested for radial loads.
The bearing surfaces of the bearing rings must be parallel.
Angular errors can be compensated with spherical bearing rings and counter plates.
